Negative Advertisement. (Public Service Announcement)

Idea : Stop Anorexia

Concept : A model (anorexia) in a cage like animals in the zoo, with a signboard that said do not feed the model.

Rationale : In this advertisements, the advertiser is trying to show that the anorexia disease is not good for anyone especially to the women. But this advertisements are not appropriate because of the concept is too cruel to the women's side. The advertisers are trying to make a statement that who ever have this disease are totally have no different to the animals in the zoo. 

 

Positive Advertisement (Public Service Annoucement)

Idea : Stop Domestic Violence

Concept : Using typeface as the font to the advertisement.

Rationale : In this advertisement, the advertisers is using the typeface as their concept. The rationale of using the typeface is all people who involve the domestic violence is using their bare hands as the weapon. This advertisements totally make sense when we think about it. So, I think this ads are the positive for the people who actually involve in domestic violence.

Magnum Ice Cream Advertisement

Idea : Street walking while Eating ice cream and don't even care what others were doing.

Concept : a women enjoying her ice cream and don't take any reaction on anything that happen around her. Even though there is a Big sale, An invisible men that having his coffee, a tall men, a cat that drive a car, House on fire, or A firemen whose rescuing a baby.

Rationale : The company is using their tagline (NOTHING ELSE MATTER) as their idea and concept. This advertisement showing us that the women who is eating a magnum ice cream wouldn't care about nothing happen except enjoying her delicious ice cream Magnum.

Snickers Advertisement

Idea : Football match and a hungry football player.

Concept : During a football match, a goalkeeper is hungry and started acting like a Chinese girl wearing their old outfit because he was starving. After having talk fight with other player. One of the player giving the goalkeeper snickers to gain his energy.

Rationale : This Advertisement have show us while we were hungry, Snickers can help us from starving while doing something that much important.

because............

Yasmin Ahmad is a passionate, humorous and humble Malaysian. 

Her television commercials and films are well known in Malaysia. Yasmin Ahmad's television commercials has won all the Malaysian heart for their humour and very meaningful message. Most of her ads is for Petronas, The national oil and gas company.

Yasmin's films have won many international awards and praise from critics and public alike. such as

In 2009, Yasmin Ahmad passed away because of stroke at 11.25 pm on 25 of July. She was buried in Subang Jaya, Selangor.
